Spending one more night in the Czech Republic - def one of the best places so far. Prague lived up to the hype for sure. Currently in Plzen, the home of the first Lager beer that has been imitated all around the world.
And Oktoberfest... that was crazy. I only know what happened for half of the opening night, the rest has been filled in by John, Mark, my camera, and some wicked bruises. Activities included drinking around 8 litres of Oktoberfest-strength beer, singing and dancing on tables, stacking it onto said table (possibly pushed) directly on top of a stein and wiping out a shitload of beers, failed jumps over fences, and announcing that I would take on a bunch of much larger Irish guys. Luckily for me they ignored my inappropriate requests.
Other highlights so far include driving a 7 seater people mover 170km/hr plus on an Austrian Autobahn, drinking non-stop, and seeing some of the most awe-inspiring architecture I have ever seen. Not to mention walking around amazing ice caves in Salzberg.
I hope to put up some more photos soon. Take care all.
Brad.
